If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle. – Sun Tzu
The most important part to winning an Alterac Valley battle ground match is to know thy enemy. In a service to my Horde brethren, I sent the research staff of Hn’H into the battle grounds to gather data on our honorable opponents.
After weeks of research, thousands of honor points and more Alterac Valley marks than they know what to do with, they handed their findings to our staff of goblin statisticians. After months of formulations, calculations and manipulations my goblin number crunchers provided me the break down of how the Alliance armies behave in battle.
59.45% – Unreported AFK’ers
15.85% – Run for the Flag
9.45% – Dance naked at Stonehearth Grave Yard
5.90% – Complain of the weak sauce that is the O/D
5.75% – Try to find the Mage Tower
3.60% – Run in circles muttering how 1337 they are
These numbers were surprising, but not completely unbelievable. There were a number of recorded instances when the Alliance forces could not make it out of their starting tunnel without multiple wipes.
Armed with this knowledge I hope that my Horde brothers and sisters will find nothing but success in facing our short griffon riding friends.
